Transparency as means of success
The contract administration is completely integrated in SAP (SAP R/3 to SAP ERP 6.0) and is available both as insTRA add on and stand-alone version. A goal of the application is it to seize contracts of all kinds, such as to obtain access to the data easily. Of course, authorizations play an important part. For example: a coworker from one department may not see or work on the contracts of another department. It is however possible to specify a department as "super department", e.g. the legal department, which can access all other departments. Here can be worked with SAP master data or own data. The accompanying diagram illustrates the system and function range of contract@insTRA.
Contract data acquisition
- Free structure of the contracts into tree hierarchy
- To each type of contract as many as desired contracts can be deposited

Period monitoring and reminders
- Deposit of periods
- Automatic creation of a reminder to the periods

- Documentation of the correspondence
- Deposit of templates, which are filled with information from the contract administration
- Integrated MS Word interface
- Filing of the documents in the SAP data base or a DMS (document management system) connected to SAP
